When hovering over the scrollbar of the autocomplete popup, the bug disappears for the thumb part of the scrollbar.

In Cairo I see the opposite: http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/5808/cairo5gg.png
Has possibly some relation with Bug 324869 ?

I don't know, all I know this is something that specifically regressed from the frame display lists patch.

To reproduce the overdraw problem, I have to make the window a little bit wider each time I trigger the dropdown.
Actually I think the problem here is that the tree column is too wide. The ... trailers are being cut off, even when clipping works.
