User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Tools | Options | Advanced | Update | Show Update History shows the wrong install date (Dec 31, 1969, 7:00:00 PM) for 1.5.0.1 Security Update. My system clock is OK. I closed and re-opened Fx and got the same answer. This is similar to bug #316328, which reported a similar wrong date (Jan 1, 1970, 1 PM). Guess it still hasn't been fixed, but it has changed! This bug is not a big deal in itself, but if this indicates the quality of the install of a security update, I'm nervous. Thanks for a great product. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Do Tools | Options | Advanced | Update | Show Update History 2.Look at result 3. Actual Results: See above Expected Results: Show correct time and date. Not running any other programs during install of update or on re-try. Win XP SP2.
12am, January 1st, 1970 is the beginning of time in many computer systems, represented by the value 0. When you adjust it for the time zone, you end up with a date/time slightly off from midnight. So both bugs are the same, just computers running in different time zones. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 316328 ***
