Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 This is an intermitten problem. When closing my Firefox browser by clicking on the Red X button, Firefox appears to close. When I try to restart the browser... I get a message it is already running but it will not resart. In order to fix the problem, I have to do a Control/Alt/Delete to start the task manager. There I will find Firefox still running at which time I have to end that process of Firefox running in the Process manager. Once done, Firefox can be started again. This does not happen all the time. I open and close the browser frequently during the course of my time online. If I were to estimate how many times this problem occures I would guess it happens every 1 in 10 times I open and close the browser. Also... in a problem that may be related to this one, I am also experincing the sudden close of my complete Firefox browser when I have multiple instances of tabs open. I click to close one tab.. the entire browser closes. Note: So far I have no problem restarting the browser when this occures. So it may be related to my first problem or not. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Don't know of any steps to reproduce this problem 2. 3. This problem did not show up until the last two releases of Firefox came out. Before that this problem I did not occure. Today I updated Firefox to the very latest release. I hoped the problem would be fixed in this latest release but it was not. The previous release was when this problem showed up.
