If you download something to the desktop in Safari, the icon of the temp file will have a progress that is updated in real time. This is a very convenient feature. Instead of having to bring up the download dialogue, I can just move the browser window a little to the left to monitor the download progress.

This definitely won't happen for 1.1, and I'll let pink decide whether we even *want* to. "Future" for now.

yeah, pretty low priority, and i think this is a dupe of an older bug.
