User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060206 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060206 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Since Firefox and Thunderbird 1.5, I experience the following problem: When I hover with the mouse over a checkbox in the preferences dialog, this checkbox turns white on blue, the same colors as text selections. Most of the time, moving the mouse away does not make the checkbox normal again. When I leave the current tab, though, the elements return back to normal. It is the same problem with radio buttons. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start FF or TB 2. Open preferences dialog 3. Hover over different checkboxes Actual Results: Checkboxes turn blue onMouseover and stay blue onMouseout. Turn white again on leaving the current tab. Expected Results: Checkboxes turn back immediately onMouseout. Default theme, Gentoo Linux, Gentoo bugreport in URL, binary distribution affected as well.
Related to/duplicate of Core bug 264164?
(In reply to comment #1) > Related to/duplicate of Core bug 264164? Yes, this looks very much like my problem. But the bug is marked fixed, but I still experience this with FF 1.5.0.1. So either it got not included in this latest build, or it does not solve the problem as expected.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060213 Firefox/1.6a1 I can't reproduce this on the latest build, so it looks like the duplicated bug has been fixed.
