It'd be very nice for Mozilla's XPath to support special functions for going between anonymous content and its XBL-bound parent, and between a framed document and its parent frame element. Reference the URL field for proposed syntax. Suggestions to the wiki welcome.

No plans for new XPath functionality beyond maintenance. And to consider something it would have to have interest from other browsers and get standardized first.
