in the regular build, the dojo dialog test works (it shows a dialog box).
in the nightly it doesn't

Ian: does it work for you with a recent nightly build? If not, this seems to be Mac-specific.

Is this bug 325296 (since it's Mac-specific, and I see some opacity values specified for that <div>)?

Yes, this does look like it's a dupe of bug 325296. Duping, if that gets fixed and this is still a problem, reopen.
