User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 On windows XP, if you let the Firefox browser stay open for a long time with the screensaver, standby, or hibernate feature active, the Locations bar, scrollbars, tabs, the tab 'X' (closes tabs), and web pages dissapear off the right edge of the window, and cannot be seen, or accessed passed the edge of the window. (For example, right now, some of the text on this feedback page/report can not be seen, or accessed because it extends past the right edge of the screen) NOTE: The Firefox browser windows is NOT miniminzed, or hidden while in these modes Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox Browser 2. Open one, or more tabs 3. While leaving window visible, allow the computer to sit for a long long time (in my case, a few hours) so that the screensaver, powersaver, standbye, hibernate feature comes on. 4. Resume normal use of the computer, and Firefox Browser. 5. DO NOT CLOSE THE BROWSER OR ANY TABS DURING THIS PROCEDURE Actual Results: the location bar, toolbars, menubar, scrollbars, tabs, websites (everything except for the OS Minimize, Maximize, and close buttons) extend PAST the right side of the window. What is past the edge cannot be seen, or accessed (except for certain parts of web pages). Only what you can see can be accessed. Expected Results: When resuming use of the computer/firefox browser, everything should remain inside the window constraints instead of dissapearing past the edge. I'm using a 3D accelerated screensaver which changes the resolution of my monitor when it activates, then changes it back when I resume normal use. I also have the computer turn off my monitor after so much time then turn it back on when I resume normal use. The only way to fix it is to completely exit Firefox, and restart it. This is very inconvenient as some important data may be lost if the user has to close the windows (I've suffered this many times)
