Details
I just ran a software update from 1.5.0 to 1.5.0.1, and it failed the incremental, downloaded the full version, and then just tried and failed again and again. I looked in the log file, and it could not write libnullplugin.so to my plugins-dir. That's because I normally link my plugins dir to the system plugin-dir (which is ro for users). I guess that's my problem :), but it would be nice if the software update actually told me so: "Unable to write to file ... bla", or at least a "Details" button. (and as a sidenote: If I start firefox -profiemanager, and create a new profile and use that, it runs the updater twice. Once before the profile-manager, and once after choosing the new profile :) )
