This is a very subtle problem. Notice that the top edge instead of the bottom edge of the widgets are aligned.

I'm going to guess this isn't really a bug and is simply how Gecko renders the page with our widgets. Our rendering of the page isn't "wrong" per say, just "different". That said, we might be able to look at our forms.css and see if we can fix the spacing somewhere.

I hadn't remembered the other bug prior to my comment, but now that I've seen it, I'd probably dupe it as well.
What does it look like in 0.8.4? My guess is this is another regression from bug 298111, at least the former example. If things look OK in 0.8.4, this one should depend on bug 298111.
Reduced testcases for both of these would be very helpful.
