User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060214 Camino/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060214 Camino/1.0

When viewing a sudoku puzzle on the screen, all the major and minor horizontal gridlines are displayed. However, in print preview and the printed page, only the major gridlines are shown or printed, none of the minor horizontal gridlines are displayed in preview or printed on the page. All of the major and minor gridlines on the vertical axis display properly in print preview and print properly on the page. There are no issues like this in the Mac OSX version of Firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to www.websudoku.com
2. Click on the 'Print' button
3. Click on either the 'Print' or 'Preview' button to see the bug.

Actual Results:
Only the major horizontal gridlines are in print preview or print on the page. None of the minor horizontal gridlines printed.

Expected Results:
Print all the major and minor gridlines on the horizontal and vertical axes.

Camino does not crash or hang on this website, and the pages print fine on the printer, just without the minor horizontal gridlines. There is no bug like this in the Mac OSX version of Firefox or Safari.
WFM with Camino 1.0.

My steps include clicking the "print" button underneath the puzzle on that page then selecting "print" from the file menu.
Here's a PDF of a Preview window showing that only the major horizontal lines get printed or print previewed on puzzles in Camino from www.websudoku.com
WFM also, 1.0 on 10.3.9.

What printer driver are you using?

Using HP Deskjet 6840, printer driver 2.7.1., OSX Tiger 10.4.4. Verified that I have the most current printer driver available from HP website.
Gary, can you create a dummy printer and try to PDF from that and see if the lines are OK then?

Open Print Setup Utility (/Applications/Printer Setup Utility) and click "Add" to set up a new printer.

   1. Choose "IP Printing" from the drop-down list.
   2. Choose "Internet Printing Protocol" as the Printer Type.
   3. Enter localhost as the Printer Address; leave the Queue Name blank.
   4. For Printer Model, select a recent HP LaserJet, like the LaserJet 4050 Series.

(These instructions were written with 10.3.x, so there might be some variation on 10.4.x)
Smokey:

I was able to create a dummy printer as you requested, using an HP LaserJet 4050 model. I tried the websudoku.com website again, and there is no change. Only the two major internal horizontal gridlines print, none of the minor ones do. All vertical gridlines print. I verified this in print preview; it is no different from the PDF I posted with my original question. Thanks for the suggestion, but it looks like it's still a stumper!

We had a look at this last night and it seems to be related to one or more of the following: Paper Size in Page Setup, Scale in Page Setup, and Shrink to Fit in the Camino pane of the Print dialogue.

In my case, with US Letter (not US Letter (Small)), 100%, and Shrink to Fit on, things worked OK. If I changed to US Letter (Small), or scaled US Letter below about 90%, or diabled Shrink to Fit, I started seeing problems.
