go to above url with either Camino or Firefox. App deadlocks while page is loading. 100% repro.

Yup, this is a long-standing, known issue with any synchronous loads done in the browser. I'm working on fixing this by re-architecting the thread event queue system. See bug 326273. I think this bug is probably a dupe.
