Nightly trunk build When the find bar closes after its three? second timeout, if firefox is not the active window, its taskbar entry will start blinking. To reproduce: 1: Search for something 2: Switch to another (non-firefox) window without closing the find bar 3: Wait until the find bar closes automatically and look at the taskbar Obviously, you need to have the blink-to-notify thingy set in your OS/window manager.
What blink-to-notify option are you using and in what window manager? (I assume it's something like "Blink taskbar items to notify me of X"; what is X?)
AFAIK, whatever the defaults in Gnome are.
