I guess too it should bring a good help when base binding for xforms:select1 will be exposed. Reproducible: Always

It's rough enough version of editable html:select control. It means not all functionality is realized. But the testcase shows how the such control can work. I guess the proposed control has advantages over the current one. Since the control is based on html:select control then we don't need in any special event processing and smart resizing as you can find for the current one. As consequence the bugs like 303351 are not actual for proposed control. But the proposed control is builded on internal structure of html:select control. And it's a disadvantage. I look forward for your opinions.
Reusing other code is good, as we do not have to reinvent everything ourselves, but I'm sure there was a reason for doron/smaug to take the path we took?
