When you click on the Back button, the status bar contains the URL of the link you clicked to go to the page you came back from. This is probably because the link is focused. I've determined that it is this way because of bfcache, because if I turn it off, the status bar shows "Done" after clicking the Back button, because the browser has finished rendering the page, since that's how it was done before bfcache.
This is the java code from the page I used. function funcQuote(){this[0] = "Questions? Contact Xxx Xxxxxx & Xxxxx Xxxxxx: (###) ###-####"; this[1] = "Welcome to Xxxxxxxx Toyota Scion Volvo: Xxxx Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx"; }
What does that JavaScript code have to do with this bug? Is there no interest in fixing this bug? Before bfcache, no elements on the page would have focus, so their text wouldn't be in the status bar. There would just be "Done", since the page was re-rendered and all.
