When viewing the above website in cairo-enabled builds, I noticed that the boxes around content have broken. The borders are single-pixel images that have been stretched to the width of the box. In branch builds and other browsers, this works just fine. However, Cairo breaks this by fading the image into to the background color.
I have tested in safe mode and in a fresh build I compiled with a fresh profile and no extensions. The behavior persists in all cases. (N.B., I haven't tested on Mac or Linux, so I can't confirm this will appear for non Win32 users.)

Clarification and workaround:
It does not matter whether the image's dimensions are specified in the <img> element or in css.
This can be worked around by dropping the image into the background by setting it as a background-image (as this will repeat the image instead of stretching it). This is probably the better way of making boxes like this.
That said, this still needs to be fixed.

This seems to occur with any image format, as far as I can tell.
->Adjusting title accordingly.
Summary: Stretched .gif images are fading → Stretched images fade into background

I should probably have noted what the testcase was supposed to do, shouldn't I...
