Just to check, does this bug cover my observation that at the moment, choosing the "Bookmark This Page..." menu item just drops the bookmark at the bottom of the current bookmarks list without any dialog box appearing? (I would have assumed that this menu option or Cmd-D would pop up the same "add bookmark" dialog that the "star" button does, but they don't.) In case it's important, I'm running Mac OS 10.3.9 and testing Places in a build from CVS (as of this morning).
I think we're done here. If there are other issues, I'll make sure they're filed separately.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
