When I enter the url of a website in the location bar to visit a site and later that day want to return there typing the url in again does not show the url as an option in the autocomplete dropdown.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit a page using the location bar. (e.g. "www.gametrailers.com")
2. Visit a different page.
3. Type in the first url again. 

Actual Results:  
The first url is not remembered and it will not show up as an autocomplete option.

Expected Results:  
The complete url should show up as an autocomplete option.

I had this problem with my profile imported into places, but since clearing my history it started working again.

Indeed after clearing my history it started working again for me too.
I'm not sure what to do with this bug since this works for me now but still might be a migration issue for other users later.

Importing my profile into the latest nightlies works fine all the time. (And back again.)

After using my profile for a while, again it is no longer remembering the urls I enter into the URL bar. Is there some set limit to how many urls it can remember for autocomplete and after that any entered are discarded?

This appears to be the same issue as bug 330126. Duping to that newer bug since it has more CC's and already assigned and targetted.
