Details
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click History -> Search in History.
2. Type a, press Back button, then click on a date in the calendar. This roundabout way is currently necessary because the "Group by Page" button is missing and I don't see it in the View menu either.
3. Right-click -> Select All.
4. Right-click -> Copy.
5. Then paste it into a text editor.
Result: you'll see only adresses, not the titles and this makes it rather worthless.
This also goes for bookmarks, although this is not very important because there is always a bookmarks.html in the backups which can be viewed in a browser window.

It depends where you paste.
Into a raw text editor, you're going to get only urls. Into a rich text editor that can handle text/html data, you'll get titles, too.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
