User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 when i access tsp.gov i can copy sections of a spreadsheet of the site's offerings and paste them directly into excel without any alteration in the format when i use IE as the browser; however, when i attempt the same process with Firefox, all i get is a long line of data when i paste into excel. if this problem has already been addressed, please forgive me but show me how to fix it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. access tsp.gov then click on rates of return and share prices; 2. that brings up a menu; click on share prices; 3. that brings up a spread sheet 4. now, copy any section of the spread sheet 5. now, open excel and paste onto the spread sheet Actual Results: the results with IE are that the copied spread sheet fits exactly into the hi-lited section. the results with Firefox are that the copied spread sheet all flows onto the top line of the hi-lited section. this is not a good result. Expected Results: i fully expected Firefox to act the same as IE
Why on earth you decided to file this under Update I do not know :| *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 137450 ***
