For individual bug, user can "clone" the bug and choose for new product. But for batch process of bug ("Change Several Bugs at Once") part, there is no "clone" action for this.

This feature will be very useful for tracking old bugs for new stepping product (rebased, arch changed, etc).

Reproducible: Always

3.

Expected Results:
"Clone" action available for "Change Several Bugs at Once"
may i ask why you would want to batch clone bugs? what problem are you experiencing that necessitates doing this?
I have a bunch of bugs reported in Bugzilla system. Those bugs are for IA32 arch and they are closed.

Then we decided to support x86_64 (EM64T for Intel) arch. Most of the bugs are identical to IA32 system but we want to track them as different bugs. Changing current bugs to "x86_64" arch for old bugs makes engineers confused. Also the bug counting systems (chart, indicators, etc) are messed up.

Summary: [feature request] batch clone bugs in "Change Several Bugs at Once" → batch clone bugs in "Change Several Bugs at Once"
Another scenario will be:

When we move forward to a new project (or, product in Bugzilla) based on an old project, the bugs in the old project will also exist in the new project. We may decide to fix the bugs in the new project only, but not in the new project. Should we move the bug to the new project? No, we are still maintain the old project. The ideal solution will be to clone those bugs from the old project into the new project; in the new bugs, add a tracker referring back to the original bug and add a label "coming from product XXX".

The step will be:
1. Query a batch of bugs
2. Under the list of the bugs, have a option "Clone Several Bugs at Once" right beside "Change Several Bugs at Once".
3. A form will pop up, asking for any change of the bug properties (product, platform, etc). The form can be the same as the one that pops up after you click "Change Several Bugs at Once".
4. When cloning the each bug, should add a comment to the new bug, similar to this: "Coming from product <old project name> - Bug <number>".
5. Also add a comment to the old bug, similar to this: "Cloned to product <new project name> - Bug <number>".
