Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Just downloaded the latest version of Firefox. Now, when composing a new message in Yahoo! Mail (iMac running OS X 10.2.8), as I type the subject, a list/cache of suggested subject lines drops down and endlessly cripples the program. Only out is to force-quit and restart. This does not happen EVERY time, only when I type a Subject that starts with a letter of a previously typed subject. Is there any way to disable/eliminate this "Subject suggestion cache"? Thanx. And you do NOT suck. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Compose new mail in yahoo! Mail. 2.Type a word in SUBJECT line. 3.If it is a word you have typed before, a "suggested SUBJECT list" will drop down and the program should freeze Actual Results: Mac spinning wheel of death endlessly spins, and I must force quit Firefox. Expected Results: Let me enter any subject I want into field.
Duplicate of Core bug 318283?
This will be fixed in 1.5.0.2; in the meantime, you can turn "Saved Forms" off in your prefs (Privacy pane)--you might also have to delete any existing saved form data (same place), but that's unclear. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 318283 ***
