Details
Sometimes when I reconfigure an account or am using a new computer with mail folders copied from another installation, all of my messages are re-downloaded, and I have to go through them all to delete the dupes. It would be nice if Mozilla could notice I'm re-downloading the same messages en masse, and ask me whether I really want to do this, or whether to only retain those matching some criteria (e.g. date > something, or using the filter mechanism).

Naturally, we're talking about pop accounts... (although, this sometimes happens to me with RSS feeds as well.)
