empty bookmarks toolber, if after opened Customize Toolbar and Places.

Firefox/2006033104-trunk/WinXP

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Customize Toolbar, and Customized toolbar.
2. close Customize Toolbar
3. open Places

Actual Results:
empty bookmarks toolber on Firefox
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060401 Firefox/2.0a1

I can confirm this, but I even didn't need to open Places, the bookmarks toolbar disappeared by hovering places.

If the steps to reproduce are: open customize window, put an icon on the toolbar, close customize window, open Places window, this is WFM with a history of 9 days. Maybe there is a relation with the size of the history?
A lot of problems seem to disappear spontaneously when I decrease history to 9 days.
Summary: empty bookmarks toolber, if after opened Customize Toolbar and Places. → empty bookmarks toolbar, if after opened Customize Toolbar and Places.
OK I can reproduce it now. And also without history.
- Open customize window
- Close customize window
- Click on a bookmark in the bookmarks menu
I can't reproduce with Trunk/Linux by either steps of
comment 0 and comment 4.

I could reproduce with Trunk/Linux.
But I'm not sure steps to reproduce.
It may be more complicated than Windows case.
I cannot reproduce this... would it be possible to give more detailed information? Is this reproducable on a new profile?

Testcase 3:
- Run Firefox without profile
- On the "Welcome to Firefox" page open and close the customize window
- Then drag the link "Tabbed Browsing" into the bookmarks menu
- Click on the newly made bookmark
I see three errors:

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
