Apparently, my checkin for bug 325473 broke language switching (detected when testing with my own German pack).
The interesting case is that the broken line had been in since 2002 and the second, now removed, listbox had overridden it with the correct value apparently. My removal of the good code made the not not removed code fail...
Patch coming up soon, I think I have it working now :)

This patch corrects wsm_attributes to "prefvalue" for the language listbox, which is what the region one used as well, what we are referring to in all the JS code - and which makes language selection magically work again ;-)
