I downloaded Google Web Accelerator along with the latest version of Firefox. I have had both of them for about a month and they worked fine. Now GWA starts on my taskbar but not my Firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download Google Web Accelerator
2.Run latest version of Firefox
3.Look at upper right hand corner for icon

Actual Results:  
No icon on Mozilla

Expected Results:  
Showed an icon with Time Saved

GWA works fine for me and there is not enough information in this bug report to find out why it isn't for you. You might get help troubleshooting why GWA isn't working for you in the forums
