Frequently I will be unable to type in the location field or in blank fields on web pages.  Clicking on the field does nothing, as does selecting Open Location.  The only solution seems to be opening a new window or restarting Firefox.  

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Happens seemingly at random.

Actual Results:  
Unable to type in location field.  Have to restart Firefox or open a new window.

Expected Results:  
Should place a blinking cursor in the field and allow me to type.

Unduping, back to unconfirmed.  Bug 319747/bug 294476 is fixed in 1.5.0.2, and comment 0 indicates that this bug occurs in 1.5.0.2.

This may be a can't-focus problem that we already have an open bug (or bugs) on.  Can you regain the ability to type in text fields by switching to another application and then back?  Can you "fix" the broken window by opening and closing a new window?

Yes, except that I also can't type in web page forms.
