334171 - An equivalent Reply-To should be added to messages with a Followup-To and vice versa

If you post a message to the newsgroups with just a Followup-To, mailing list users who reply will not be affected by it, so their message will go to the original group. This is solved if you add a Reply-To header, of course, but nobody ever remembers to do that.

It would be convenient if the mail-news gateway or whatever it's called added the proper Reply-To header if it found a Followup-To header, and I would assume the reverse should be done, too. (Add a Followup-To header to mailing list messages with a Reply-To header. Of course, the server would have to make sure it didn't do it for Reply-Tos to addresses other than the mailing lists.)

No, but not having the time or resources to put into this is, which is why it sat so long.

Too much to dig into and modify here.  For the groups that is out of our control (Google) and mailing lists would need us to modify mailman.
