According to timeless, and from what I can tell, Phil Schwartau is no longer active as XPConnect default QA contact. I think it would be a good idea to change the default QA contact to xpconnect@core.bugs (which doesn't yet exist). This makes it easier for people interested in XPConnect bugs to watch only bugs in that component. If Phil is still interested in seeing XPConnect bugmail, he can just watch the new QA. CCing Phil in case he has any objections :).
i can do this as soon as phil gives the nod.

I've emailed Phil directly and asked him to comment in the bug.
Haven't gotten a reply from Phil. I think it's pretty safe to assume he won't mind the change, seeing as how he hasn't been active in bugzilla for a while.
done. I noticed when making the change that phil also is QA contact for xpidl - not sure if he active in that component either.
