The partition is formated with NTFS filesystem. The problem would be fixed for HTTP downloads but for FTP it's already exists. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=243974 Reproducible: Always

I'd rather not dupe FTP and HTTP together until it turns out that they have the same cause

ok, now that bug 340956 is fixed, can someone retest this with a nightly from today or later? (trunk or 1.8, not 1.8.0)
I could test it tomorrow. Trunk (1.9) and Branch (1.8)?
(In reply to comment #7) > Trunk (1.9) and Branch (1.8)? That'd be great.
I have test it with the Debian 3.1 r1 DVD1 ISO file. it works with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1a3) Gecko/2006061113 SeaMonkey/1.1a and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/2006061201 SeaMonkey/1.5a I think it is fixed.
Marking FIXED per comment #9.
