I have an iMac.  Writing in the Subject line for EMail freezes the computer.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Get on EMail
2.Write in Subject line
3.Computer will freeze but shouldn't

Actual Results:  
Computer freezes every time unless I choose a previous line from the drop-down box as a subject

Expected Results:  
For months now the computer froze if I tried to write in the subject box

I should be able to write in the subject box.
I have an iMac.

Are you running Mac OS X 10.2.x?  If so, this is bug 318283, which is fixed in Firefox 1.5.0.2 (you should upgrade to 1.5.0.2 regardless).
