I'm using Sunbird under OS X. This problem has existed under several previous versions of Sunbird, as well.
Basically, if I let my mouse cursor hover over an event, a tooltip with the complete event information appears. If, while the tooltip is visible, I switch to a different application using command-tab, the tooltip remains visible. To remove the tooltip, I must click on it (bringing the application focus back to Sunbird) or switch back to Sunbird, move the mouse cursor, and then return to my other application.
I believe that tooltips are sometimes activated even when the Sunbird window isn't the top-most one or the active application -- but I can't reproduce that right now, so I can't be sure that it is happening.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Define an event.
2. Move the mouse cursor to the event.
3. Wait until the tooltip appears.
4. Switch to a different application with command-tab.
5. The tooltip remains.
Actual Results:
The tooltip remained, on top of the current (i.e., non-Sunbird) application window.
Expected Results:
The tooltip should have disappeared when Sunbird was no longer the active application.
