Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier:

Everytime I log onto the WiFi service at uni I have to use my Network username and password to access the net. On internet explorer I only enter the password and username once, wheras Firefox always requests the password to be entered numerous times for every single image, gif, or anything that loads on a webpage. It's very frustrating cause I prefer Firefox over IE but am forced to use IE. This is only a problem with PC users because My friend has a Mac and his Firefox works fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Access the net
2.enter Username and Pasword
3." " "
4." " "
          (Always)

Actual Results:
I Acces the Internet by double clicking the firefox icon. The Username and password is requested. I allow Firefox to save my Username and password and continuously click "ok" till the page loads.

Expected Results:
When a page fully loads i Recieve the same problem as soon as I click a link or enter a new adress.

The uni uses MAC filtering. My friend has the same version of firefox that I do except for the difference taht he uses an apple mac and I have XP. all students who have XP using firefox have the same problem.
