Yahoo Mail Beta will not load on the latest nightlies of the 1.8 branch. It gets to the Loading Yahoo Mail screen and then just stops. Same thing happens in BonEcho 1.8 branch. Works fine in 1.8.0 branch.

There's some wild speculation that this might be related to the patch for bug 322683 not having been checked in on the 1.8branch (although that was supposed to stop a crash).

The reason we speculated this was related to bug 322683 is that unofficial optimized Camino 1.8-branch builds crashed with a stack looking very similar to the one in bug 322683 (even though in official builds Yahoo Mail Beta simply gets to the "Loading Yahoo Mail" screen and never finishes, no crashing involved).

There's been confirmation in the forum that official builds merely get to the "Loading" screen and never acutally load the mail interface.

Bug 322683 hasn't been checked in on the branch yet due to the perf regressions on trunk and branch and the branch storage mess.  Check back after that bug has the fixed1.8.1 keyword (which won't be until after the trunk and branch reopen).

This appears fixed in today's build:  Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1a2) Gecko/20060516 BonEcho/2.0a2.  I am currently using Yahoo Mail beta with no problems.
