WFM with this testcase, Mac trunk debug. Now I get: JavaScript error: , line 0: uncaught exception: [Exception... "The boundary-points of a range does not meet specific requirements." code: "1" nsresult: "0x805c0001 (NS_ERROR_DOM_RANGE_BAD_BOUNDARYPOINTS_ERR)" location: "https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=220904&action=view Line: 31"] I see a similar assertion with the testcase in bug 335896, though.

Bug 409380 got fixed, so I checked in this bug's testcase as a crashtest.
