Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060428 Firefox/1.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060428 Firefox/1.5
Firefox [sometimes] loads a seemingly random page when scrolling down using the middle mouse button. The page loaded is always Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" result for the last highlighted text section.
This is a very annoying behavior as it often draws my attention to some unsolicited page while reading something.
It' can't be an issue with any installed extension as I could reproduce this behavior without any extensions installed. I've tested it with Firefox 1.5 and 1.5.0.2 and the bug's present in both versions.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open some page, preferably in English
2.highligth some word, preferably a common one
3.scroll down using middle mouse button. releasing the button after less than a second seems to favor this strange behavior
Actual Results:
Loads unsolicited page after scrolling
Expected Results:
Only scroll down

Thanks a lot, Ben!
The exact name of the property to change in about:config is middlemouse.contentLoadURL
In my eyes, this resolves this "bug", even though I can't understand why this feature has ever been implemented ...
