I downloaded Firefox yesterday and installed it, but I cannot use my Ebay toolbar with it and my Roboform will not do it's job so I am trying to uninstall Firefox.

I have tried everything, and it just will not happen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Stalls when I try to use Add & remove in Control Panel.
2.Will not allow me to delete it from my hard drive.
3.

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens when I try to use add & remove.

Expected Results:  
I wanted to uninstall.

With Firefox I haven't seen this yet (only with Minefield) but often with other programs. Normally you can also delete the Mozilla Firefox folder in Program Files to get back the space occupied by Firefox. Don't forget to set another browser as default in that case.
About Ebay, there are a lot of extensions here: https://addons.mozilla.org/search.php?q=ebay&app=firefox and I'm sure there must be a lot possibilities for formfill too on https://addons.mozilla.org/

Maybe you can try packaging your profile(s) in a .zip, delete the Mozilla profiles folder at [username]\Application Data\Mozilla.  Now try to uninstall.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
