Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier: Firefox version 1.5.0.3

In Firefox, past four weeks, unable to download images, Quicktime updates, etc. Thinking it might be a security setting, unable to access "Privacy" or "Content" in the Firefox Options menu. Always get the Message: "Firefox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to shut down." Then the connection to the website is severed. I choose not to report the incidents to Microsoft.
In Internet Explorer I AM ABLE to do the downloading I need. Problem only in Firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Access any website.
2.Attempt to download image, using "save image as"
3.Click save

Actual Results:
Steps above lead to Firefox problem message and loss of the website.

Expected Results:
Firefox "problem" essage and severing of connection to website.

Firefox should have enabled me to download images, updates, anything, without trouble.

Same with SeaMonkey! This time from btinternet.com email website.
works for me in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9a6pre)
Gecko/20070603 Minefield/3.0a6pre ID:2007060304 [cairo]

Mike, is this still a reproduce in a recent release/build like Firefox 2.0.0.4 ? (if so, can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode)

If you still crash a Talkback ID would be very useful.
