It seems that the cut-and-paste funcationality of FireFox has been intermittently reliable over the past couple of versions.  It is quite frustrating as I use this feature frequently.

On nearly a daily basis, it will fail to paste the selected text.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Browse to a website
2.Select text with the mouse
3.Press Ctrl-C
4.Using the mouse, click on the FireFox address

Actual Results:  
Sometimes the selected text is pasted into the FireFox address bar.  Sometimes nothing is pasted.

Expected Results:  
The "copied" text should be pasted into the FireFox address bar.

I have tried on several occasions to reproduce this error.  Unfortunately, it is intermittent.
