It works for me. I tested in Firefox 1.5.0.3 (official build) and in my own MinGW to-day's build of Minefield: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060521 Minefield/3.0a1. The video clip works just fine. Of course you need the Windows Media Player properly installed.
Thanks Bengt-Erik I still can't make it work. I thought it was because I had blocked pop-ups, but that doesn't work. What doi you mean by installing Windows Media PLayer correctly? It does work for me under IE so I assume it is properly installed, although I normally use Real Player. Do I have to tell Firefox to use Media PLayer rather than Real?
wfm Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060521 Minefield/3.0a1 Please have a look at http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/windows.html
Thank you Patrick for your help. This site seems to use Active-X. I installed this plug-in and it now works perfectly : in fact rather better than IE!

Sorry it was premature to close it. The video at http://www.eurosport.com/tennis/wta-rome/2006/mc_vid25382.shtml does now work, but the full screen button (the picture is so pixelized that it isn't really worth it!) still does not work. This may be due, I think to it's placement on the screen which may not be quite the same in Firefox as in IE.
Are you sure that that is the same issue?
No it's probably not, because the video works apart from that. Let's just close it: full screen isn't worth bothering about
