Error msg when trying to copying then trying to paste text (in Excite/MyWay Rich Text editor)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Rich Text "compose" window in Excite mail or MyWay mail
2. try to paste text into this window from clipboard


Actual Results:  
Error msg pops up: "Priveleged scripts cannot access Cut/Copy/Paste programmatically for security reasons.  Click OK to see a technical note at mozilla.org which shows you how to allow a script to access the clipboard." - this info refers to Firefox & does not work for Mozilla 1.7.11.

Expected Results:  
One would expect that the text would be pasted with no problem

using Windows XP home SP2.  Mozilla 1.7.11 Theme: American
