User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060427 Camino/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060427 Camino/1.0.1

This has happened before, so I'm attaching my complete Camino log since I upgraded to OSX 10.4. I'm not really certain what the combination of factors are that cause this to happen, and it doesn't happen very often. This last time, it occurred while I was downloading http://bloglines.com/myblogs . I just cleaned out my cache last night, fyi. Also, I use CamiTools. It's not a huge problem, more like an annoyance, but I thought I should let you know. The build identifier isn't right, but I use OSX 10.4.6 and Camino version Version 2006042704 (1.0.1).

Reproducible: Didn't try

Meg, thanks for reporting this. A single crashlog that corresponds to a single crash is always best, though :)

Can you give us detailed steps that seem to cause this on bloglines, or confirm if the steps below (I found them in a Talkback report) seem to reliably cause a the crash for you:

bloglines.com/myblogs
Camino: clicked on a folder (in bloglines.com) to contract (as in expand/contract) its content. the page hadn't finished loading (images were still coming). the folder did contract but then the browser crashed and here i am.

This looks like it might be a topcrasher for 1.0.x.

for Camino crash event 5/30/06 in Bloglines
Hello, sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. Camino just quit on me (while in Bloglines) so I copied the crash report and am attaching as a .txt file. The Bloglines situation you describe sounds similar - I leave my folders exploded but what seems to happen is that Camino conks out while bringing up a new blog feed. However, this is not a reproducible situation, it just happens every once in a while. And as I said before, not (for me) really horrible, just kind of annoying (considering how superior I find Camino in all other respects as a browser!). Thanks and please LMK if you need any further info from me.

Now that we have the info in comment 5, we need to do some testing:

1) Can we reliably repro this in Camino 1.0.x
2) If so, does it also happen in Fx 1.5.0.4 <-- note .0.4
3) Does it also happen in Fx 1.5.0.5 and/or a Cm 1.0.0+ nightly
4) Does it also happen in Cm 18branch nightly (try one from last week to avoid the script-related hangs from recent Gecko regressions)

I can confirm this happens with 1.0.2. I must have sent also several talkbacks.
I've tested for 1/2 hour a 18branch build and the problem seems gone, yet I'll try another couple of days and see, since the appearance of the crash was quite erratic.
forgot to specify I'm on 10.3

Marcello meant he tested the 180branch, aka Camino 1.0.0+ (nightlies for this branch from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/camino/nightly/latest-1.0-M1.8.0/ )

Meg (and anyone else reading this), can you try using a build from that link for a few days and see if the crash also seems to have vanished? These builds should be very stable; they only have security/stability changes and will be the basis for Camino 1.0.3....
I'm going to use the recommended Camino build for a few days and let you all know back the results.
Marcello told me today he'd browsed for a week with the requested build and hadn't experienced the bloglines crash at all in that time.

Meg, have you seen the crash again since switching to the build in comment 9?

If not, I'll mark this bug "WORKSFORME" (since we don't know exactly which Gecko checkin fixed it), and Camino 1.0.3 should be crash-free ;)
No crashes so far, and I use Bloglines 10x or more every day. I'll update from this branch. LMK if you'd like more feedback, in another week or two. Thanks!
Meg Lakowski
I'll go ahead and close this, then. If you see this problem again (in anything other than 1.0.2), let us know. Thanks!
