Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 I have an applet on my page. With javascript I change the style from display:block to display:none to hide the applet until the user requests to see it again. WHen the display is set to none the applet is stopped and destroyed. What I was expecting is that the applet would keep on running and only was not visible when display is none Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load page with applet and button to hide applet 2. set display to none for applet 3. Actual Results: Applet was stopped and destroyed Expected Results: No stop and destory events, just don't show applet
