Crash Data

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060602 Firefox/3.0a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060602 Minefield/3.0a1 With any recent cairo hourly or nightly build (started about 4-6 weeks ago) I get a "fbBltOne" crash when I select a bookmark folder with 8-10 entries and choose "Open as tabs" from context menu. The pages load but as soon as I switch between those tabs and close some of them I often get this crash. - Does not crash with any pacifica non-cairo build (same machine, same profile, same extensions) for weeks when doing the same - Does not crash when I restart firefox and open the same bookmark folder again (perhaps because pages are in cache now?) I use a Pentium 4 HT Northwood 3.06 GHz system, 512 MB RAM, Windows XP Professional SP2, Gainward GeForce FX5700 Ultra 128 MB AGP, official nVidia Forceware driver 84.21 with default settings, 19" CRT at 1280x1024x32bit Sample crashes: TB19258848G TB19235642W TB19222371X TB19222165K TB19387874G TB19421190E TB19420819Q Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use a cairo build 2. open a bookmark folder with many entries as tabs 3. switch between the tabs, close some of them Actual Results: often crashes Expected Results: shouldn't crash

sorry, still happening here, just tested with latest nightly build Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060823 Firefox/3.0a1 ID:2006082304 [cairo] resulted in TB22451169G and TB22451116H The nightly 2006082104 seems to have no debug info, here the source position couldn't be resolved to fbBltOne but it's the same: TB22330242K TB22330205E TB22330187E TB22329180Y and incidents from build 2006081604 are TB22154094G TB22154083M TB22152872H As video driver I now use the latest 91.31_winxp2kmce_international_whql.exe from official www.nvidia.com website. And again, not a single issue with any non-cairo build on then same machine with same profile and settings. This issue is still #11 on trunk topcrasher list, there are more incidents counted than those from me (I use non-cairo builds most of the time to avoid those crashes) so there must be other people with this crash too. I think it is fixed now.
Depends on: 366688
Harald have you tried this lately? Bug 366688 has been resolved as WFM. And there are no talkbacks for at least the last 10 days.
No didn't try, I changed from trunk to branch nightlies after my last post because of this bug. Currently the german "de" localized trunk nightlies are broken but I surely retry trunk after the localization issue is fixed.
please reopen if you still see this
