Aftre installing the MathML fonts, I notice that if I have
\sqrt{1-x^2}, I will get the sqrt 1 and x^2 displayed fine but the minus
sign does not appear.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Write the equivalent of the Latex expression $sqrt{1-x^2} in mathml
2.Try to see it in FireFox
3. The minus sign does not show up.

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-GB; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 - Build ID: 2006050817
Problem also occurs on PPC (Mac OS X 10.4.7 - build 8J135).
Bug can be demonstrated by viewing <http://www.mozilla.org/projects/mathml/start.xhtml>, for example.
Will try to attach a screen shot.
(Please forgive me if PPC is not sufficiently different from Intel to warrant this comment. I couldn't find very specific guidelines for commenting on, as opposed to originating, bugs.)

Try a 1.8.1 build. It has been fixed there -- see bug 257978.
