Looks exactly like your bug 340692 stack, which looks exactly like bug 312455. I'd say that if you find other XUL windows that also have a dropdown, that crash in the same spot while trying to paint the dropdown arrow, that you probably don't need to file them separately.

About that Thunderbird bug, I wasn't even aware of it. If you're dead sure it's the same bug, go ahead and mark mine as duplicates.
Tony, do you think you could build a debug build of Firefox and get symbols for gtk2.0 (this is the "libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 + 0x16bbea" line of the stack trace)? I think this is a problem with GTK and if we figure out where we're crashing in GTK then we can maybe figure out if this has been fixed upstream.

In particular, the crashed build of Firefox was downloaded at the date mentioned in the "Build Identifier" as http://mozilla.osuosl.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla1.8.0/firefox-1.5.0.4.en-US.linux-i686.installer.tar.gz then installed as a "custom" install with all options on -- Talkback and DOM IIRC. No extensions, I think the theme at crash time was Silver Skin 2.6.6 but I've gone back to Mozilla Default since then. My Linux distribution is Novell-SuSE Linux Professional 9.3, and apart from that I don't know where to look for libraries, or whether I have header files or other symbol tables required for debugging.
