Does the flash player you download off macromedia.com fail too? Vista is unsupported you know...

The file that cannot be modified is c:\program files\mozilla firefox\plugins\npnul32.dll. I understand that vista is not supported but when this is a popular application and the OS will be shipping by years end I think the attempt should be made now rather than later to include the support.

If downloading the official flash player from macromedia.com/adobe.com has the same error, talk to them, the plugin finder just repackages their installer (in fact, the pfs just downloads an .xpi from macromedia). Since the npnul is in the error msg, I am blaming the flash installer, which isn't mozilla code, but Adobe.
