It would be nice to show a big magnifying-glass icon in the confirmation dialog shown when adding a new search engine.

I don't think this is relevant any more. Perhaps for "add a keyword to this search".

I think this is just as relevant as it was when it was filed - we still show the generic prompt icon for the engine installation prompt (http://cl.ly/image/1j2y3z3U2847). But I think we're unlikely to try to "pretty" that up as suggested, so I'll call this WONTFIX.
