The Email Scam Alert warning appears when you click on a link in an email which meets SeaMonkey Mail & News' scam criteria. However, it does not appear if the link is opened in a new tab or window, by middle-clicking (if enabled) or right-clicking and choosing an option.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to open a link which SeaMonkey thinks is related to a scam in a new window or tab.

Actual Results:
The site loads without a warning.

Expected Results:
The Email Scam Alert pops up, as it would have if you simply clicked on the link.
SeaMonkey v1.0.x is not supported anymore.

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 1.0 Branch
