Right click on the misspelled word in the textarea. You'll see that the textarea disappears.
Now choose a correct word from the context menu.

This didn't crash in earlier builds, this is most likely a regression from bug

My patch for bug 339066 seems to fix the crash.
Depends on: 339066

As far as I can tell, the fix roc checked in to the branch for bug 339066 does not fix this bug.
